Friday October 27th

This weekend and every weekend: Did you know that there are over ten dog-friendly hiking trails in the Metro Phoenix area alone? Well, there are. Get your hike on at McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. The pooch-happy trail is aptly called, “Lost Dog Wash.” Maybe keep ‘em close. Trail 100 at the Phoenix Mountain Preserve offers gorgeous valley views for two and four legged friends. The Nature Trail and Dreamy draw is a pretty laid-back hike/long walk. And dogs are allowed all over South Mountain. The Phoenix Newtimes (you can find online) details all ten.

Saturday and Sunday: Get blown away at the Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular. Doors open at 5p. There will be over 20 Hot Air Balloons tethered on display to delight and amaze along with over four thousand pounds of candy! There will also be live music; food, craft, jewelry, and other vendors; a kid zone with fun inflatables absolutely FREE; tethered balloon rides; a haunted trail—fun to be had by all! Adults $15, Children $10, 2 and under: free!

Looking forward: Sunday, November 12th, 9a-6p Arizona Harvest Fest & Farmer’s Market will offer over one hundred merchants and vendors offering a vast array of products and services: artesian gourmet foods, local produce and meats, handmade goods, holiday items, furniture, home décor, health and wellness services and products, jewelry, clothing, art, and so much more! Check out ArizonaHarvestFest.com for more info.

Have fun out there. Be safe. If you need us, we’re here.
