Taylor was born and raised in Arcadia, California. Taylor then moved to Arizona to attend law school and has resided in the state ever since. While attending law school, Taylor worked for a high volume valley firm that focused on criminal law. While working at the firm, Taylor completed over 300 pro bono hours working on the cases of indigent criminal defendants. By the time Taylor left the firm, Taylor had worked on hundreds of criminal cases.
Taylor then went on to work for a solo practitioner who served as a municipal public defender. In this role, Taylor saw firsthand what criminal defendants experience in Maricopa County. This position allowed Taylor to further familiarize himself with the criminal justice process and meet face to face with clients on a weekly basis.
Taylor then went on to found his own law firm that specialized in criminal law. Taylor worked at that firm for over five years before joining R&R Law Group. Taylor routinely appears in Court where he argues substantive motions and regularly conducts bench trials and jury trials.
Taylor has represented clients in nearly all of the City and Justice Courts in Maricopa County. He also has significant experience defending cases in Maricopa County Superior Court, including both felony and probation matters. Taylor has also practiced extensively in other counties throughout the state in City, Justice, and Superior Court.
In his free time, Taylor strives to give back to the community whenever possible and recently served as a volunteer attorney at the Stand Up for Veterans legal clinic.
